Aydın Müzesi

Aydin Museum was founded in 1959 in a room at Victory Elementary and museum activities were carried out here a long time. After 1973 it has been providing these services in the new museum building. In time Aydin archeology and ethnography museum with works from Aydın and its districts have had rich collections.

The museum building is located in a large garden. The garden is located in the province Tralleis Aydin, Magnesia, Alinda, Alabanda, Nysa, Amyzon, at peak, Harpasa to, Myus Pygela, Orthosia, Mastaur and so on. stone works are exhibited in various periods from the ancient city. These works, statues, sarcophagi, columns and headings, altars, grave steles, Islamic tombstones, milestones, consists of various architectural fragments with inscriptions and relief stele.

08:00 to 12:00 every day except Mondays / 13:30 to 17:00 hours to visit is open.
